Government and Military in the Area
The Hampton Roads region is home to 2.3 million residents with a strong federal and multi-municipal government and business infrastructure. Suffolk is centrally located among 7 large military cities, with bases such as Norfolk Naval Base, Little Creek AB, Fort Story, Portsmouth Naval, Langley AFB and Fort Eustis. With all of these military installations and the local law enforcement in this region we have a wide variety of opportunities for offering our services.
Suffolk is home to the Naval Network Warfare Command, NNWC Global Network Operations Center Detachment, Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command and Navy Cyber Forces that will be moving into buildings vacated by the deactivated U.S. Joint Forces Command. It is also home to two major modeling and simulation companies, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.
Workers are attracted to the region's superb lifestyle. The James River, Chesapeake Bay and The Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge provide abundant water recreation. Waterfront homes are surprisingly affordable, and a choice of several golf club communities are found throughout the area.
Area attractions include Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. World-class museums include The Mariner's Museum and The Virginia Living Museum. Cultural amenities such as symphonies, ballets, opera and theater productions are available at numerous venues in the Hampton Roads metropolitan region.
