Cyber Engineering & Environment Design

Cyber Operations: Cyber Engineering > Network Operations > Cybersecurity

CPT’s engineers provide support to unique environments, enabling secure research and development, Test and Evaluation (T&E), training, and experimentation of cyber capabilities. Environment planners, network engineers, systems architects, information assurance, and system administrators design, plan, install, secure, and manage complex events and environments for a wide-range of organizations.

Through strategic planning and collaboration with DoD services, various agencies, operations centers, and other partners, CPT integrates geographically separated sites to create holistic, operationally realistic information and cyber environments. CPT leads the interconnection of laboratories, operations centers, and other sites including use of modeling and simulation and virtual environments capabilities. CPT’s cyber planners lead event planning for organizations within codified processes for requirements approval, event planning, interconnection of distributed sites, and event execution and assessment support.

CPT manages a Network Operations Security Center (NOSC), planning, setting up, configuring, monitoring, analyzing, and auditing performance of local and remote devices. Our engineers, cyber specialists, and cyber planners are experienced with technologies, processes, and activities:

  • Perimeter Devices
  • Cryptographic Devices
  • Intrusion Detection
  • Systems Administration
  • Virtual Environments
  • Information Assurance
  • Systems Installation
  • Network Design
  • Cyber Event Planning
  • Risk Management Framework
  • Training Processes
  • Customer Support

cyber network engineering consultants

CPT personnel have developed planning, engineering, and security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and templates to enable approval of interconnection of separate organization hardware and software.  Through CPT personnel’s event design, operations and security activity coordination, geographically separated cyber teams and information environments (ranges), and cyber centers are integrated for vulnerability analysis, network security tool and application assessments, security patch evaluation, and interoperability and systems of systems analysis.  CPT personnel have facilitated the identification of mission system vulnerabilities, development of cybersecurity tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) and other successes.
